Her Last Breath Description

Madison Grace just turned 18, and is finally free from her orphanage she has been stuck in. With her new found freedom, she decides to find out why her parents abandoned her. When she discovers her mother's diary, everything changes...

With help from two boys who are both fighting for claim on her heart, they discover some people don't always want to be found easily. As Madison follows the trails her mother left behind in her diary, slowly the pieces fall together on who her parents were. Little does Madison know that she is being dragged into a deep web of lies and if she isn't careful she may become a victim.

But is the truth worth risking her life?

Casting Her Last Breath

For those of you who have not seen my cast of "Her Last Breath," in order of appearance here it is:

***NOTE: these are just how I image the characters, you are always welcome to interpret them differently, because that is what makes reading enjoyable (at least for me)! But for those of you who are interested in seeing who I picture the characters as below is my cast***

Skyler Samuels as Madison Grace

Inspiration: Before I started writing I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted Madison to look like: blond wavy hair, green eyes, and she had to be strong heroine who wasn't just the typical damsel in distress. After watching the TV show "The Nine Lives of Chloe King," I knew Skyler Samuels was going to be the perfect Madison Grace.

Kiera Knightley as Samantha Cross

Inspiration: Personally, I have always been a fan of Kiera Knightley ever since I saw her as Elizabeth Swann in "Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl." But, her performance in my all time favorite movie: "Begin Again" made me fall in love with Kiera all over again. So when I began writing I knew I would have to make a part in my book around Kiera's character Gretta that she played in "Begin Again."

Alex Pettyfer as Ben Knight

Inspiration: I want readers to think of Ben to be protective of what he loves, and that he would do anything to keep Madison from harm. But he doesn't start off that way, becuase in the beginning he is very cocky and doesn't want anything to do with Madison. He wasthe hardest character to cast becuase I couldn't find someone who could show both personalities. After watching the movie "Beastly" I knew Alex Pettyfer was going to be Ben Knight.

Lily James as Charlotte Alice

Inspiration: Charlotte is the character you should be rooting for right from the beginning. I wanted her to have a back story that wasn't ideal but yet she still works through her problems. When creating her character a part of me always thought of her as a modern day Cinderella fairy tale. Upon hearing Lily James was casted as Cinderella in Disney's new take on the classic fairytale, I knew she would give life to Charlotte.
Brenton Thwaites as Jase Moore

Inspiration: Jase is a dark character who opens up only around Madison. I wanted him to be the person who with one look you would asume he has many secrets he isn't sharing. In "The Giver" one of my favorite books, Brenton portrayed the mixed emotions of Jonas perfectly.

Garrett Hedlund as William Jones

Inspiration: To be honest there wasn't much that went into casting William. I knew that he needed to be a character who displayed leadership qualities, and through the internet after many searches I came up with Garrett Hedlund and the more I saw of him, the more I knew he was going to fit the part.

Cam Gigandet as Andrew Chase

Inspiration: Andrew is the guy that is always in Charlotte's mind whether she likes it or not. I knew that when casting Andrew he had to appear to be some hotshot. The more you read on his character develops and when the decision comes for Charlotte to choose between William and Andrew, I want Andrew to have a fighting chance.

Little Reminders:

Hello, I'm a new writer on Wattpad, but I've always been a reader. Take a look at my story Her Last Breath :)

Here's just a few little reminders to remember when you are on my profile:

(1) I love creative writing, but hey I'm not a professional so I would love to hear back from my readers. With that being said if you have something to say don't hold back! I'm completely open to criticism and would genuinely appreciate grammar corrections. Or if you love something let me know, I haven't mastered becoming a mindreader!

(2) If you have any ideas for what should happen next, comment below. I'm open to changing the plot if I find your ideas are better!

(3) The picture I used for the cover  of  Her Last Breath is not mine, it is from this website:

(4) If you want to make a cover or a video, I'd love the help seeing as this is my first time around the block!

(5) While reading know that anything I have put in is always important to the plot even down to the little things.

(6) Just because the title is named Her Last Breath does't necessarily mean any girl character you read about is going to die, but I am not saying that isn't a possibility....
